Stanley
The only town on the Falklands, Stanley is a much more British town than you would probably expect, but also holds some local surprises and a friendly, and curious, population.

Carcass Island
Various kinds of penguins and other birds, as well as desolate beaches make a short hike on Carcass Island well worth the while.

New Island
A short walk from our landing site, we walked into a large rookery on top of steep rocks where rockhopper penguins, blue-eyes cormorants, and black-browed albatrosses were breeding.
